We are pleased to announce that the 2008 Danskin Women’s Triathlon Series will again offer its Swim Angel program in conjunction with the standard water safety personnel secured in each Race market for the swim segment of each of its triathlon Races.

Danskin Swim Angels are VOLUNTEERS who participate in the swim segment providing encouragement and support to women who may experience temporary anxiety in the water. Swim Angels are instructed NOT to provide swim assistance or to attempt safety measures (this is the exclusive domain of the lifeguards).

We are looking for women who have a strong swim/endurance background, great comfort in the water and lots of enthusiasm.

Shifts in the water can be from 30 minutes to an hour at a time.
