The current water temperature at Aurora Reservoir is within the range for participants who wish to wear a wetsuit.
Please be advised that Race organizers reserve the right to modify Swim portion of Race on Race Day

The 750 meter swim will be a loop course in Aurora Reservoir. The water temperature in the reservoir will be between 63 - 73 degrees F. The water is exceptionally pure and is used as one of the drinking water supplies for the City or Aurora.
Due to the current water temperature at Aurora Reservoir, participants may opt to wear a wetsuit for the swim portion on Race Morning.

Cycling on the Bike Course prior to Race Morning is stictly prohibited.

The 10 mile bike course is a rolling paved route which goes through the Aurora Reservoir. Course begins with an exit from the transition area (located in the Boat Launch parking lot) with athletes turning left and proceeding on So. Powhaton Road (the main Reservoir access road) towards Quincy Avenue . At East Dam Road , participants will turn right and do a short out and back on East Dam Road – then returning to Robertsdale Way (which is closed until race day – no-pre-riding available) Turning right onto Robertsdale Way , participants will proceed to Quincy Avenue , participants will turn right (or east) on Quincy Avenue for approximately ½ mile, to a left turn onto the road leading to the Ridgeview Academy Correctional Facility for a 2.6 mile out and back. Participants will then return on the same roads back to the Reservoir – Quincy Avenue to Robertsdale Way to So. Powhaton Road – back to the new transition area located in the Boat Launch parking lot.

The 5k Run course will be conducted on paths entirely within the Aurora Reservoir complex and will be a combination of cement, dirt and asphalt surfaces. It will have some rolling hills but very little elevation gain and loss.

Danskin Women's Triathlon Series reserves the right to modify, which may include shortening, any of the three courses (Swim, Bike, Run) or cancel a specific leg of the Race at any point during the Race, if so advised by the Race Management Team.
