I purchased this leotard for my daughter whose 8 years of age. Her first reaction was that it looks and feels good on. I washed it, and she stated again it still looks and feels good on. This means a great deal becuase she has previously complained of leotards cutting in on her legs, or riding up after they been washed. I will continue to purchase leotards from Danskin from now on.

Caution around the neck line for sensitive skinned girls.. The bric brack may drive them crazy. We use Gold Bond creme around the neck line when she wears this outfit on a hot day or the teacher keeps the class room hot while dancing. She does wear this outfit otherwise and it's fine on her.
The size large is described on line as being close to size 7/8. It fits my tall and thin daughter who wears a 7 normally in size but needs an 8 for pants, etc. She has a long mid section and is tall. She weighs 52 pounds but is very slim, IE: no waist, no butt, thin. But I doubt she will wear it for long, it fits well now and not much room left over.
I love the outfit and love it on her.

This leotard is soft, well constructed and fits my daughter perfectly. I now know that all leotards I have purchased elsewhere in the past were cheap substitutes.
