Just so there is no confusion, Michaela's mom is writing this review. I really like how well these tights last. Michaela is a beginning level ballet student and I never worry about these tights snagging or running. She recently wore them every day, for a week, several hours a day preparing for a performance and they held up beautifully. There is plenty of stretch to them so they really do fit to the height stated. The elastic qualities have lasted for dance classes and performances for the last year, so I don't have to worry about whether she has the correct color for tights or buy backup pairs 'just to be safe'.

i bought these for my 3 year old just to wear with a dress for a wedding. it was outdoors and she immediately fell into a puddle of water! i am glad the tights were black! they dried out quickly and did not rip or loose fit or anything negative! if i ever need nice thick opaque tights i will be buying them in mommy's size! great buy!

My 4-year-old snagged these the first time they were worn, on the way to class. They may be fine if only changed into/out of in a changing room but were not as durable as other Danskin tights we have. More like a pair of ladies' style tights (to be washed carefully in garment bag) than the child-friendly Danskin tights we already have which are quite durable and great to wear. Haven't figured out which ones those are because they were a handmedown. For the cost, they should be better quality. They are more like standard girls' tights purchased at other retailers.

We've owned at least a dozen pairs of these tights - they are great, though I realize now to order a size up because they are too short for my daughter even though she falls in the middle of the height range and lower end of weight range for the "right" size.

Oh my gosh!!!! These tights are miracles! Sensational! Simply stunning!!! My daughter, I feel, has changed because of these tights!! I'm amazed... simply amazed. Such quality! Comfortable, easy to put on, incredible!! Buying these tights has moved me. I'm a new woman now, thanks to these tights.

these tights usually survive a year of dance class for my 9 year old. I buy two pairs and that usually does the trick. I also buy them a size larger.. as for my daughter they run a bit small, and then she can manage to put them on herself. the waist band tends to be tight, but we just fold it down so it sits on her hips.

My 5 year old uses these for her creative movment class. She seems to prefer these to other tights; I think she finds the texture comfortable. I have found they have lasted for about a year.

I purchased these tights for my two grandaughters ages 3 and 5 who take movement/coordination and jazz/hip hop classes once weekly. After the first use my 2 yr old grandaugter got several snags from moving around on the floor of the dance studio.(she is the one who takes movement/coordination)I realized I should have opted for the heavier tights. I would not purchase these tights again.

As I am just beginning ballet the tights were a great value and breath well, but the waist is too high so it digs into my waist instead of sitting comfortably on my hips.
