I gluded rhinestones on the leotard and made a tulle skirt with rhinestones and bells. The girls (2 grand daughters age 9) performed a duet baton twirling performace at the State Championship Baton Twirl in Indianapolis, IN and won 1st place.
The judges count 5 points for costume. They recieved all of the 5 points.

I have to say that Danskin products really impress me. I am new to the "ballet" world as my 3 year old just started dancing. I got several leotards from Danskin and this happens to be one of the styles I received. It is really soft, holds up really well to my active little girl and washes great! You can't go wrong.

My daughter loves her leotard for its smooth, comfortable fabric. The fabric lays very neatly. I love the quality construction and reasonable price. The fabric washes beautifully and when hung to dry, dries quickly. It has not faded or showed any signs of pilling even after 8 months of dancing 4 times per month. It would be nice for each color to have a coordinating skirt which is very useful when the dancers need a little extra coverage during certain times of the month. Quality product!

Comfortable, simple, inexpensive leotard that is great for class, or as a costume base. It comes in a wonderful array of colors. I wish there were skirts to match many more of the colors. I have had to order matching leotard and skirt sets from other companies when you don't carry the matching color skirt.

This was perfect for our mommy and me dance recital! It was stretchy enough to fit the "marshmallow" toddlers as well as the "pipe cleaner" ones! And the hard to find green was perfect for their flower costumes!

I got two of these for my daughter to wear during gymnastics practice. She loves them. They fit well - the only thing that wasn't perfect is the way the neckline doesn't cling to her the way others have. But they don't ride up, and they're very comfy. I guess I also wish there was some kind of panty-type lining, but it hasn't seemed to bother her.
