My 3 year old daughter loves her ballet slippers. This is her second pair and she would wear them all day if she could. She can get them on herself and the drawstring around the top gives them a perfect fit. BEWARE of sizing. She is a 5.5 regular shoe and I just bought her a size 9 slipper which have tons of room to grow but don't gape. The recommendation is to size up 2 sizes from their regular shoe size. Well worth it and a great price.

I bought this product a week before my birthday and it got here the day of. Very pretty shoe and definitely worth the purchase. Comfortable with a small ribbon inside one of the shoes reading "This belongs to." The shoe comes in a nice Capezio box and is adjustable to better fit your foot. I own all the Accessories and Similar Products that I recommend below. They are all wonderful and go perfectly with the ballet slippers! Sorry, I don't have any pictures to share, but honestly the picture Danskin provides on this website shows everything but the ribbon. The shoes are pretty to wear.

The slippers arrived in perfect condition. I did not use customer service when placing my order but have used them for other reasons and they are very helpful! My delivery arrived a week after my order. So far my experience with Danskin service has been great!

My two-year loved the slippers when they first arrived. Unfortunately, having worn them twice, she refuses to wear them anymore because they are too small. I ordered one size larger than her street shoe size. I believe you should order at least a size and a half to two sizes larger.

We bought these shoes for my daughter's first ballet class. She is four years old. These shoes are not only cute and reasonably priced, they are practical, too! My only qualm (and it's a small one) is that the laces sometimes come untied. We fixed this issue with a double knot. My daughter is quite comfortable in them and I even had to buy an extra pair that she can wear around the house. They are true to size, as well. Highly recommended!

Service & Delivery comments:

I ordered the ballet slipper in the PINK however i received it in BLACK. I did not have enough time to deal with returns/exchanges as my daughter's class was going to start the day after i received the package. That was a nuisance i didn't need. In the future, please double check that the product being shipped is the product that was ordered!

Buy a whole size larger than your regular shoe size! I purchased the slippers for my 2 1/2 year old Daughters first year of ballet classes, and they are great! Much better than any I found in other stores. Great quality for the price and adorable on her feet. She loves them!

The first size we bought was one size up from her normal shoe and it did not fit. We sent back that one and Danskin sent us a pair that was 2 sizes up and that fit perfect. Overall, great product!

These fit great on my 4 year old! I had bought ballet slippers from a store, but they were too narrow for her wide feet. When these arrived the slid on like a glove. Perfect fit - even for wide feet!

My daughter has worn these for 2 years for her dance classes (one pair each year). She still crams her feet in the old ones for some dress-up activities! Regarding the drawstring, her school does the following: adjust to fit the foot, double-knot, cut the lace ends shorter, and with masking tape secure the ends to the inside top of the shoe. It lasts for months, if not the entire dance season.

I purchased these for my toddller. Based on other reviews, I ordered a full size up from her street shoes and they fit perfectly. I love the look and the softness/flexibility. The floral interior is also very cute. These are much nicer than the ballet slippers available at the big name shops (Payless etc.)

I bought these shoes and absolutely loved them. However, I read the reviews and thougt that getting the exact size would fit, but they were too small. I needed to get one size bigger than regular. Other than that, no complaints.

My 3-year-old daughter uses these in her ballet class. They are soft, flexible and very well-made. I do agree with the Danskin's suggestion that you DO buy them one shoe size bigger than normal, as these are form-fitting and will be too tight if you don't. (My daughter wears a size 8 street shoe and a size 9 slipper).

It took me a few tries to get the hang of tying them; however, I merely tied them to fit my daughter's foot, double-knotted the bow, then snipped the long ends that hung down. Problem solved.

My 5-year-old has worn this shoe as long as she has taken dance class. While the drawstring does get loose, her dance teacher has her tuck the whole thing in so it does not matter. What I like best is how long the shoe lasts. She had her first pair for a long time! When she outgrew it, we bought it again.

I bought these for my 2 year old daughter. From what I've read about them, you should buy a half size up - this is not true in my case. They are pretty nice shoes -well made, easily put on a 2 year old's foot. The one big con is that the little lace in the front is CONSTANTLY getting untied, even after a double knot. For a two year old learning to dance, that's a problem.
