I have previously had problems buying tap shoes for my daughter with the fit being too narrow. She wears most regular shoes fine, but has problems with some narrower styles. These shoes were definitely a better quality than others I have bought but they still pinched her toes at the side. We ended up going to a specialist dance store who recommended a different brand which are much better for her feet.
