My daughter has to wear white tights with her school uniform, white tights are hard to find when you are a plus size, thank goodness for Danskin's plus sizes.

I have varicose veins from the knee down. They are very ugly. I can't wear sheer hosiery, and need support for the veins. I tried buying the regular compression hosiery made for vein problems, but could NEVER get them on. About 5 years ago, I checked to see if Danskin had plus size hosiery, and was delighted that they did. I bought 3 pairs, in black, navy and light toast.
I wore them often, year round, and washed them in the washing machine in a lingerie bag. They washed beautifully, and did not even start losing their elasticity until early this year. They are still wearable, but I thought 5 years of wear was long enough, and I owed myself some new hose.
I HIGHLY recommend this type of panty hose / opaque tight hosiery. They cover my ugly veins, look great, and they make my legs feel good. Anyone who has varicose veins knows the heaviness you feel in your legs when you don't wear support hosiery. This hosiery makes my legs feel better. I've never had one pair tear or run. They are well worth the money, and I will continue to buy them as needed -probably in another 5 years.

I am active in our community theater and enjoy performing. Although I am a big gal, I love to dance. It was difficult at first to find actual tights to use in perormances. (Normal hose just doesn't cut it.) I love the tights because they stay put no matter what move I am making. They are very run resistant and wash well. I have one pair that is over 5 yrs. old but still usable in practice.

I use these tights for performing in a community theatre. I find them to be durable, comfortable and natural-looking.

I'm not a dancer. In fact, I have two artificial hips and a reconstructed ankle. I love these tights because they are not a struggle to get into--even for someone with restricted hip movement. They are a great substitute for lighter-weight panty hose because they are more forgiving when they catch on things, including fingernails. Also, once they are up, they stay up--I don't have to run to the restroom to adjust the crotch. No sagging at the ankles or knees, no matter how long you wear them--and they come out of the wash just as perfect as the first time I opened the package.
I only wish that Danskin would make footless tights in plus sizes. That would be perfect.

These are great tights! A little long in the legs for me (I'm 5'4") but much better than too short. I love that they are not control top. Also the attached elastic waist is soft and non-binding.

I am a very busy university and school teacher and I wear tights about 7 months out of the year in a cold, upstate climate. These tights wear well, and you can throw them in the wash over and over. I buy them in the shade "ligth toast" and they look like regular stockings - plus the extra wear and warmth. They save my wardrobe for the winter. Must-haves for me.

I purchased my Danskin tights for a Halloween costume at a time when white tights were not readily available. Unlike the previous “one-size fits all” no-name pair that I purchased from a local Halloween store, I could easily slide my 6ft-1in frame into my silky-smooth Danskin tights. Also, they stayed in place and kept me cool, every time I hit the dance floor.

I am a Religious Sister, so I wear my black tights every day. I am not too happy because they are already ripping. They are not the same quality I have bought in the past. My past purchase lasted me many years, but these I will be lucky to get a few months out of them!

I am a very active administrator and love wearing these under my slacks and skirts with boots especially. They are very comfortable and warm in winter climate.

I am a senior citizen today. I wore Danskin black tights in high school (1954-58)when they the height of fashion with black suede hush puppy oxford shoes. They were a little heavier then but the quality is still the same...excellent. The fit is perfect. They make my legs look great and they keep me warm on these cold days which was the reason I bought them. And they are still made in the USA. Thank you.
