My 7-yr-old daughter loves this top over her halter leotard for ballet class because it makes her "look like the older girls." It's made of a very soft stretch cotton (like a thick t-shirt) that moves well and is not too hot, even on warmer days. It's actually a "faux wrap," crossed in front and sewn in place, with the ties attached. So there's no fussing with wrapping and tying...she just pulls it over her head and is set to go.
