I am a returning dance teacher. Danskin tights were always my favorites because of their comfort and fit. Haven't bought any in a long while so I may have ordered too large of a size because these don't supply the support I remember. Price on this style is great.

I wore these the first time today skating and the 100% silk kept me toasty warm. The high waist band stayed in place... no pulling up or baggy knees like most storeself pantyhose. They were fun to wear and felt great. I can't wait to find more pairs especially some other color then Theatrical Pink for causal dress. For those that don't know these semi see through.

Size chart is spot on. Classic ballet tights. Really comfortable, a must for dancers.

The DuraSoft Tights worked great with my costume! I was an 'oversized' elf, so luckily for me they come in Plus Size. I walked next to the horse pulling Santa. I'm not in shape, so they help me "hold it together" and were comfortable for the event.

Anytime during Fall, Winter & Spring. I live in the desert so when it's hot here it's pretty hot, otherwise it's comfortable enough to use any season and because it's nude it blends in well.

Danskin has always been the top of the line in tights and leotards, you will have these tights for several years the don't run, stretch out, of fade.
The are true American success story, My friends and I will continue to support them in any way we can.

The tights were used for Halloween costume. Very good quality and held up throughout the nite. I would recommend making this style with not such a high waist line.. Very breathable in 80 degree weather. Some dye will run with washing.. in cold water.

This is not my first pair of this style--I continue to wear them year after year and they last and last. I needed to add an additional color (green) for a special performance, and am very happy with the way they fit and look. I may have to stock up on a few more pairs for the winter months, as I hate dealing with runs in hosiery from other brands.

Back in my youth, as a dancer to be,
I would wear Danskin’s garb to move fancy and free!

But when I grew up, I put down my dreams
of being a muse for the great Ballanchine…

So I pursued other things - studied and trained -
and Life led me down some alternate lanes.

But the workaday world can be a soulless place.
Was there a way somehow to restore Dance’s grace?

I thought to myself, “Well, the simplest way,
is to wear what inspires this dream day-to-day”.

So I began to search for a personal look
that was fresh and not found in any old book…

When I tried on some skirts with movement and drape,
they embodied that yen for an elegant state!

Now the problem is that my ankles are thick -
so black tights I’d need (an old slimming trick…)

I went to the store to check out the wares,
and promptly came back with a couple of pairs.

Now I’m sure there are others more careful than me
but I quickly got runs at my ankles and knees.

I’m just a knock-around gal from my old dancing days,
and needed the right weave for my physical ways.

The issue was Spandex which feels snug and nice,
but for me, nylon’s looseness would better suffice.

To find the old tight was a real trick at first.
So I called Danskin’s staff and they went on alert.

“Oh, that’s Durasoft Style 69”, I was told.
“No problems with runs - you’ll really be sold!”

So I bought them online and had them sent right away
And in 4 days they came - absolutely OK.

I was happy to see paid postage enclosed
in case of return - hey, one never knows…

Well, the tights were incredibly soft and sized right,
and the waist band was sturdy and didn’t feel tight.

The overall quality just seemed so clear
and their resistance to runs makes them ever so dear…

So now I wear skirts with my Durasoft tights,
and often twirl when unnoticed with a dancer’s delight...

I've been using them for stage for years and they are great. My only concern is the waistband, after a while and after repeated washings, eventually wears out sooner than the tights.

These tights outlast anything I've ever brought (ive purchased over $30 tights from macys) that just dont hold up! I show dogs and they stand up to dogs jumping on my legs and pawing me, also with me moving grooming tables and tack boxes getting snagged on them not 1 rip and ive had them over 2 years!!!! Way to go danskin!! and for an added bonus they are super comfortable and stylish!!

I use this product as a cosmetic covering for prosthesis.
The run resistant feature is a great feature allowing this product to last longer.
I wish you would also offer this product in thigh highs for added comfort especially in the summer months.

These tights are really good, If you want to move about or do heavy dancing,I find that these tights do the trick. They dont rip easily, they make your legs look so smooth and hide all the blemishes on your skin.
So good, that Im planning to buy more.
Other tights are too thin and rip easily.
These dont!! bTrust me. i have been looking almost everywhere..for tights like these...

Perhaps folks do like this type of tight for ballet but I prefer a stronger material that washes well and keeps its fit. This tight stretched out and is getting bigger, runs big, and doesn't keep its form or shape.

Danskin has always made quality items. Whether it's Leotards, tights, etc, I am never disappointed. It's the first name I think of for any recital or drama performance.

I notice that the waistband elastic becomes limp and stretched out on the very first usage. It used to take many, many uses before this would happen. I am surprised at the poor quality of the elastic used in the waistband. When the band gets stretched out, there is nothing to hold the tight in place. I have been using Danskin tights for over 38 years. I am seeing the overall quality of the product go downhil.

Good product. I just wear these under pants. They wear well. The foot of the hose is well constructed, so shoes do not cause holes after only two or three wears! My only complaint is that the legs are a bit short for me (I am taller than average.)
