No, I would not recommend this to a friend
I was looking for more pant like VELVET tights, less like hosiery tights - I kept them but they are very thin and can't be worn without a long tunic top. I really want very thin legged velvet pants (tight at the ankles) with an elastic waist (which every woman over 50 requires).
