This is a good comfy pant that would be perfect for someone with a bigger waist. The waist was a bit big for me (though the rest of the pant fit good) and I had "the gap" in the back. I think they would be perfect for a new mom or early mom-to-be as they had some room to play with.
Pockets are cute!
