Beautiful, but ....
By Sue O

I always order large when the leotard is low cut as I have a long torso. This one has a higher neckline so I ordered medium (I'm 5'4 110 lbs). Unfortunately, I cant move my arms; the sleeves are so restricting and there is no give because the sleeves are of a different material than the body (no spandex). Its a shame because the leotard is gorgeous . I might be able to wear as long as I dont need to move my arms - definitely not for a ballet class or any form of exercise.
Low Stretch Top
Pretty but not well thought out. The patterned fabric does not stretch much. Dancer cannot raise arm above shoulders comfortably.
I would never buy this again.

This leotard is made with non stretchable fabric for the top and sleeves. The only way my daughter is even able to wear it is by cutting off the sleeves. There is no stretch so she couldn't even lift her arms. Same problem with the back. She can't close the button since the fabric won't stretch. It's really too bad because it was so pretty. We bought it in 2 colors and we had the same problems with both.
Unfortunate - No Stretch Top Fabric
Love the design, looking for long sleeves...BUT the patterned fabric has no give, causing it not to fit right. The back seam completely ripped out on the first use (on one of my students). Arms are not free to raise above chest level.
NO NO NO

This leo is laughable as a danceable fabric. Literally no give or stretch. I can't move my arms at all.

About Me Casual Dresser
Somebody who does not move, or expect to move, designed and created this awful leotard. The upper fabric does NOT stretch, AT ALL, so putting this on is near impossible. If you're one of the lucky ones that can actually get this on, be happy. Your happiness will be short-lived, however; when you try to lift your arms, twist side-to-side, bend, or MOVE, this unforgiving leotard will not move with you (just breathing is hard is this trap). What was Danskin THINKING? I cannot believe they allowed this to be sold; I wouldn't have taken it for free! Please spare yourself the money and hassle and thorough disappointment, do not buy this horribly designed, but pretty on the hanger leotard (unless you just want it for decoration).
Beautiful, but flawed

Lovely leotard, but poor fabric choice for sleeves/upper bodice make it impractical for movement!

I didn't like it!! Cheap material... I bought two different colors and I returned them.

About Me Classic Dresser
The body and color are great, the mesh/ sparkly part have no stretch. I wish I had looked at the image of the grey one better. Even the image on the website shows it ripped on the back. Returning it because not able to lift arms above chest level without it being so constrictive its painful. The shoulders were oddly baggy. 5'5" 115lbs ordered a small any bigger and it would have been too baggy in all the wrong places.
